Joseph Papa is a well-known PR professional and bestselling author with nearly two decades of experience in publishing, arts, and nonprofits. He is the President and Founder of Joseph Papa Public Relations, where he creates and implements results-driven media and promotion campaigns for numerous high-profile clients and companies. He specializes in working with celebrities, authors, thought leaders, publishers, and non-profits. Joseph is heavily involved in advocacy and volunteer work. He currently serves on the board of directors for Studio Two Three, Lamb Center for Arts and Healing, and The Library of Virginia Foundation. Joseph is the former communications director for Equality Virginia, the state's leading LGBTQ+ advocacy organization. Prior to that, he spent a decade in New York at HarperCollins Publishers, working on over 50 New York Times bestselling books for multiple imprints. He is the author of the national bestselling book Elizabeth Taylor: A Passion for Life (HarperDesign, 2011). Joseph lives in Richmond with his husband, JS Fauquet, and their two dogs, Robby and Reba.
